Gundam Seed: Another Series in the Making
An anime and manga series of robots and stellar battles, as the name suggests, Gundam Seeed is where one can find the best Gundams ever introduced. The three most amazing are Blitz Gundam, Freedom Gundam and Strike Gundam.
Do you still remember how the story of Mobile Suit Gundam started? Well, this is important because half of the beginning plot of Gundam Seed was inspired by that of the Mobile Suit Gundam Series. Let me give you a brief background of these two Gundam series. For example, the two series started with the accidental indoctrination of juvenile, novice, and untrained pilots (Amuro Rey for MSG, and Kira Yamato for Seed) to the cruel reality of warfare when an assault on their particular colonies transpired. Amuro and Kira each turned out to be skillful fighters in a very short time because of natural skills and both struggled to safeguard their respective region through countless undertaking. And the satire and sorrow of battles always remains vital to both series. In fact, the resemblance between MSG and Seed are extensive. But instead of considering Gundam Seed as a phony to the throne of Mobile Suit Gundam, I rather think of it as a way of being inspired by the excellence of the features of MSG and incorporating it to the story of Gundam Seed.
There are many Gundam series in the alternate-universe ranks that have attempted to follow the success of other universal century Gundam Series, especially that of Mobile Suit Gundam. So far, Gundam Seed has remained on top of the list. Now, let’s talk about what makes Gundam Seed being hailed as one of the best released by the Gundam franchise. Gundam seed is one of the alternate-universe Gundam Series. Unfortunately, viewers of the alternate-universe series have testified that they were left somehow disappointed by the less stellar battle scenes. The following series did not reach their expectations of what a Gundam Series should be. The acclaimed best of the alternate-universe series can only be compared to the worst production of the universal century era.
The arrival of the Gundam Seed series has paved the way to a better alternate-universe production. Viewers have been most impressed by the quality of every aspect of Gundam Seed. Visual effects are more stunning; the soundscape of each scene is very captivating and is very well orchestrated. The plot is very unique, though the first part is somehow inspired by that of the Mobile Suit Gundam.
The Gundams here utilize very awesome weaponries like invisibility, energized broadswords and multitude of firearms that can be used all together.
If you are not an anime lover, your first impression of the series might be somehow indifferent. Gundam, by the way, is a Japanese anime. Perhaps, if you would just spend more time in knowing Gundam Seed, you will be able to realize that it is not only a series of shallow robotic and space battles. It is a story of the human race and human emotions.
